The New York premiere of composer and conductor Mark Hayes’s International Carol Suites weaves together familiar and lesser-known Christmas carols in a multicultural celebration of the season. Maestro Jonathan Griffith conducts The Night Before Christmas, Gloria, and A Feast of Carols narrated by composer Randol Bass. Both acts feature the Distinguished Concerts Singers International and Distinguished Concerts Orchestra.

Curtains is parody of 1950s “whodunnit” mysteries where Lieutenant Frank Cioffi investigates a series of murders that take place behind the scenes of the cowboy musical, Robbin’ Hood. The company and crew are forced to stay inside the theater while Lieutenant Cioffi finds the killer, becomes involved with the show, and falls in love.

Anik will be performing as Kelly in the new musical, “Samantha and the Glass Ceiling” at the Theater for The New City, from November 7 to December 1. Previews begin Thursday, November 7th and the official opening will be on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 8pm.
